Air defense shot down 390 air targets during a massive Russian attack: there were hits and casualties.

On the night of March 24, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying 426 air strike weapons. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 390 of them.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

According to the military, Russia used:

• 7 Iskander-M /S-400 ballistic missiles
• 18 X-101 cruise missiles
• 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles
• 4 guided aircraft missiles Kh-59/69/31
• 392 attack UAVs, including Shahed-136 , Gerbera, and Italmas

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.

As of 09:00, air defense forces destroyed:

• 18 X-101 cruise missiles
• 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles
• 2 guided aircraft missiles Kh-59/69
• 365 enemy drones

At the same time, six missiles and 27 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 22 locations. Debris from downed targets fell at another 10 locations.

Consequences in the regions

Residential buildings and a hotel were damaged and fires broke out in Poltava . The attack left two people dead and 11 injured.

Zaporizhia also came under attack. A retail outlet, apartment buildings, private homes, and other buildings were damaged in the city. One person was killed and five others were injured.

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, March 24, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia and Poltava regions using missiles and attack drones . The shelling resulted in casualties, injuries, and significant damage.
