Air Force Destroys 161 Enemy Drones During Night

On the night of Monday, August 4, Russia launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, using attack drones and a missile. The majority of air targets were destroyed.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

In total, the enemy launched 162 Shahed-type drones and drone imitators from the territory of the Russian Federation (Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Orel), as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition, an attack by an aeroballistic missile Kh-47M2 “Dagger” was recorded in the morning.

The air strike was repelled by aviation, air defense units, mobile fire teams, electronic warfare forces and UAV operators.

As of 11:30, Ukrainian air defenses have destroyed or suppressed 161 of 162 enemy drones over the north, south, east and center of the country.

Let us recall that the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, reported that on the night of August 4 and in the morning, Russian troops continued shelling the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region. Several communities were hit, wounded, including a baby. Ukrainian air defense destroyed two enemy drones.
