All nuclear power plants will operate at full capacity in winter – Energoatom

Preparation of power units for the autumn-winter period is being carried out with proper quality and on schedule. All nuclear power plants will operate in the winter.
This was announced by the head of JSC NNEGC Energoatom Petro Kotin.
He stated that all work on fuel reloading and repairs to power units is being carried out properly and on schedule.
“In some cases, we achieve even better results, thanks to more efficient organization of processes. We guarantee that all nuclear units will operate at full capacity during the heating season,” he emphasized.
The construction of a complex for processing solid radioactive waste was also discussed. The head of NAEK emphasized that the construction of such a facility is an extremely important project.
“According to the results of the first six months of this year, JSC NNEGC Energoatom fulfilled the planned task of electricity production by 100.8%. Electricity supply exceeded the planned indicators and amounted to 101.1%,” the Energoatom press service noted.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine increased electricity supplies to EU countries, raising export figures to 650 MW .
