All territorial recruitment centers in Poltava region have been moved to new buildings due to the threat of repeated Russian attacks.
This was reported by the head of the communications group of the regional TCC, Roman Istomin, on air on Ukrainian radio “Poltava”.
According to him, after the shelling, there were delays in the work of the TCC related to organized movement, but critical consequences were avoided. Now the units are dispersed: different services work in different buildings. For example, the reception of military pensioners and the passage of the VLK are organized in separate locations. This causes some inconvenience, but the work continues as usual.
Istomin assured that the personal files of veterans and pensioners from the regional TCC were not damaged – they were taken to a safe place. The documentation of conscripts and military personnel is mostly digitized, so the risk of losing information is minimal.
According to the speaker, the strikes on the TCC are aimed at disrupting mobilization and sowing fear and discord in society. As a result of the shelling of the Poltava TCC, two random passersby and two civilian workers died, who died in the hospital from their injuries. Istomin emphasized that the buildings of the centers are often located in dense urban development, so the attacks create a direct threat to the civilian population.
He also noted that the shelling of the TCC could be part of an information war, given the high level of criticism of these institutions from some citizens.
Let us recall that on July 3, Russian troops attacked Poltava. One of the hits caused a fire in the building of the Poltava United City TCC and SP.
Earlier it became known that on Sunday, July 6, at about 9:35 a.m., Russian troops attacked Kremenchuk in the Poltava region with attack drones . The district TCC and SP were hit.
By the way, on Monday, July 7 , Russian troops launched air strikes with UAVs on the TCC in Kharkov and Zaporozhye.
