Almost 800 people evacuated from Oleshki – Melania Trump

During the humanitarian truce, almost 800 people were evacuated from the temporarily occupied Oleshki in the Kherson region.
This was announced by US First Lady Melania Trump on the social network X.
According to her, the humanitarian mission was successful. The necessary aid was delivered to the city and the evacuation of civilians was organized.
Melania Trump thanked Ukraine and Russia for their cooperation during the ceasefire and expressed hope that the agreements regarding Oleshko will become the basis for lasting peace.
The ceasefire was in effect from October 27 to November 1. The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported that the oldest evacuee was 94 years old, and the youngest was just over a year old. Their pets were taken out along with the people.
As a reminder, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously reported that Russian troops used the humanitarian pause to rotate units, strengthen positions, strengthen anti-drone protection on roads, and transport ammunition .
