Four American journalists from the Newsmax TV channel will work in occupied Oleshki, Kherson region, where they will document the progress of a humanitarian mission.

US First Lady Melania Trump announced this on the social network X on Thursday, October 29.

According to her, the journalists will be in Oleshki together with Russian and Ukrainian representatives of humanitarian organizations.

“Four American journalists from Newsmax will be in Oleshki with Russian and Ukrainian humanitarian leaders,” Melania Trump said in a statement.

Melania Trump noted that media representatives will serve as neutral observers. They must independently record the progress of the humanitarian mission in order to leave a documentary record of the event.

It was previously reported that a large-scale regime of silence began in southern Ukraine on October 27 at 03:00, which will last until November 1. The initiative is associated with the efforts of US First Lady Melania Trump to unblock the temporarily occupied Oleshki.
