US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to a new low amid the military operation against Iran, with a majority of Americans disapproving of his actions.
This was reported by YouGov at the request of The Economist.
According to the poll, 37% of respondents support Trump’s actions, while 56% expressed dissatisfaction. Thus, the balance of assessments is -18.
A similar situation has developed regarding the president’s policy towards Iran: 36% of those surveyed support his actions, 56% disapprove, and another 9% are undecided.
Trump’s economic policy rating has fallen to -29, its worst ever, surpassing even the record lows of the COVID-19 pandemic during his first term.
In addition, 23% of Americans would support a violent change of power in Cuba, which Trump had previously allowed, while 53% opposed it.
