Amid the Mindichgate scandal, Poroshenko called for the dismissal of participants in corruption schemes from public positions

During his speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, Petro Poroshenko called, against the background of the development of the “Mindichgate” scandal, to dismiss participants in corruption schemes from public positions and to form a coalition of national unity. Poroshenko warned the authorities against a new attack on the independence of anti-corruption bodies, as was the case in July last year.

“Spring has come – we will plant.” The country received an answer to the question of who the mysterious Andriy is from the four members of the cooperative. We know who Mindich is. We know who Chernyshov is. Now we know who Andriy is. The boomerang has returned. The blow was not inflicted on a specific person involved in the scandal. The blow was inflicted on the entire “Dynasty” as a symbol of cynicism, impunity, and enrichment at the expense of a country at war,” Poroshenko said.

“The scariest thing in this story is not the amount of money. The scariest thing is the time that was chosen. I know this from my own experience. When in 2022-2023 we brought thousands of drones to the front. The army didn’t have them, but these scumbags had the money. That’s why today we are talking about it very clearly – this is a sentence to the system,” the opposition leader states.

“First: we warn the authorities against attacking the independence of the anti-corruption infrastructure. Everyone who voted here in July 2025 for the destruction of NABU – they tried to make you accomplices in the crime. We managed to stop this thanks to the support of the Ukrainian people and the cardboard Maidan. Don’t try to repeat it,” Poroshenko said.

“Second: we insist on a complete reboot of the State Bureau of Investigation as a tool for extrajudicial attacks on the political system of the state. I want to remind you that it is a component of our commitments to European integration within the framework of the Kachka-Kos package,” the fifth President recalled.

“Third: after the report of suspicion to the former head of the President’s Office, the issue of the resignations of the participants in the “Mindich tapes” is an urgent issue. I want to emphasize that criminal responsibility is ahead. Political responsibility must be now. After yesterday’s events, the monomajority, the government is in a deep crisis. Elections are impossible now, we must unite around a coalition of national unity,” Petro Poroshenko called once again.

As a reminder, on May 11, NABU and SAPO conducted investigative actions against the former head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.

Later, it became known that NABU and SAPO had exposed an organized group suspected of legalizing 460 million hryvnias in an elite construction project near Kyiv. The suspicion was reported to one of the participants in the scheme, the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine .
