An-26 crashed in Crimea: 29 people died

A Russian military transport plane An-26 crashed in Crimea. The incident killed 29 people on board.
This is reported by Russian media.
It is noted that the plane lost contact around 6:00 PM during a scheduled flight and crashed into a rock.
A search party discovered the crash site: six crew members and 23 passengers were killed. There is no information about survivors.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that there were no collisions with missiles or drones, and the preliminary cause of the accident is said to be a technical malfunction. A military commission is working at the scene.
The An-26 has been in service since the late 1960s and can carry up to 40 passengers.
As a reminder, in February, a Diamond light-engine aircraft crashed in the Orenburg region of Russia, killing the entire crew.
