Today, October 3, an An-2 light transport aircraft belonging to the Borus company crashed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia. There were two crew members on board, at least one person died. Russian investigators have now opened a case for violating air transport operating rules, which caused the deaths of people.

This is reported by Russian media.

It is noted that in the Yermakovsky district, an An-2 light transport aircraft crashed. The aircraft belonged to the Borus company, and there were two crew members inside. According to journalists, at least one person died.

According to the regional Ministry of Emergencies, the crash site is located approximately 40 km from the village of Tanyzebey. Rescuers are already working at the scene. Other sources specify that the plane crashed near one of the military units in the same area.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has already opened a criminal case under the article on violation of air transport operation rules, which caused the death of two people.

There is currently no exact official information about the condition of the second crew member – whether he survived or was seriously injured.

The An-2 is a Soviet single-engine, multi-purpose biplane that was widely used in civil and military aviation.

In many countries, this aircraft is still used on remote routes, in rural areas or in conditions where other aircraft cannot operate.

Recall that on July 24, an An-24 passenger plane crashed in Russia, flying from Khabarovsk to Tynda . The incident occurred in the Amur Region, not far from the destination airport. There were 49 people on board, including 43 passengers and 6 crew members.

As reported, on April 2, a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed in the Irkutsk region of Russia . The pilot died on the spot, and the remaining crew members ejected.
