An evening of remembrance about Andriy Parubiy will take place in Kyiv on September 1: where and when

On Monday, September 1, the memory of Andriy Parubiy will be honored on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv.

“Tomorrow, September 1st at 18:30, Andriy Parubiy will gather us all again at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kiev. A farewell ceremony will take place. How much we have in common with this place, friend. How much it means. Maidan has connected the hearts and destinies of everyone who was here. And where would we be without Commandant Samoris? Side by side with millions of Ukrainians, here he gave himself completely to the fight for freedom,” Petro Poroshenko writes on social networks .

“This is where the epochal changes in the history of Ukraine began, in which we together had the honor of being on the front line. And it will be right that here Kyiv will pay him the last respect and gratitude. Every patriot will have the opportunity to come, bow their head in prayer and pay their last respect to the worthy son of Ukraine. See you on the Maidan! – Eternal memory!”

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv .

It later became known that a shooter who killed the current member of parliament from European Solidarity and former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy is being sought in the Lviv region . A photo of the alleged killer is being published online.

Later, journalists reported that deputy Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.

It is worth noting that a special operation called Siren was announced in Lviv to search for the killer of the people’s deputy , former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy.
