An explosion occurred in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, killing one person and injuring another.

On Tuesday, December 11, an explosion occurred in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv, killing one person.

The capital’s police reported this.

Law enforcement officials clarified that, according to preliminary information, the death and injuries were caused by the detonation of an unknown explosive device. The victim was hospitalized.

Investigative teams, forensic experts, bomb disposal experts, and dog handlers are working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Following the official police confirmation, reports of explosions on Revutskogo Street appeared on social media. RBC-Ukraine sources confirmed that the incident occurred there and noted that several explosions were heard.
