An explosion rocked a military commandant’s office building in Russia, killing three people

An explosion has rocked the military commandant’s office building in the Russian Leningrad Region, resulting in casualties.

This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Baza.

It happened in the town of Sertolovo, Vsevolozhsky district. It is preliminary known that three people died, several more people are under the rubble of the building.

As noted, after the explosion in the building, the second and third floors, as well as the attic ceiling, partially collapsed. At the same time, there is still a threat of further collapse of the structure.

Emergency services, including emergency responders and the regional fire and rescue service, are currently working at the scene.

“I have instructed the security forces to assist the military in clearing the rubble and rescuing those injured during the building collapse,” wrote the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko.

Earlier, an emergency incident occurred at a military facility in Primorsky Krai, Russia. Two explosions occurred in the parking lot of one of the military units in Ussuriysk.
