On Saturday, September 13, an explosive device detonated at a railway section in the Oryol region.

This was announced by the governors of the Oryol and Kursk regions.

As noted, during an inspection of railway tracks in the Oryol region, explosive devices were discovered. When one of them was detonated, two employees of the Russian National Guard were killed, and another is in serious condition.

In addition, 10 long-distance trains on the Maloarkhangelsk – Glazunovka route are reported to be delayed for at least four hours.

According to preliminary information, there are no injuries among the passengers.

Employees of the Russian Guard Directorate in the Kursk Region were sent to the site of the detonation, and five teams from the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine were also dispatched there.

A set of measures is currently being taken, including to identify those involved in the incident.

Recall that on the night of September 5, Ukrainian partisans struck at the logistics of the Russian army in the territory of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, blowing up a “relay cabinet” on a section of the railway.
