The SBU reported this.
The suspect’s main targets included units of the National Guard of Ukraine, oil refineries, and the port infrastructure of Odessa.
The investigation established that the woman worked as a sales representative for a local food company. She came to the attention of Russian intelligence agencies while seeking additional income through Telegram channels. After being recruited, she communicated with Russian officials through an intermediary—an employee of one of the units of the Russian occupation Ministry of Internal Affairs in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Following her handler’s instructions, the woman tracked the locations of Ukrainian troops and equipment, marked them on Google Maps, and transmitted the data to the FSB. She also collected information about oil refineries and major logistics centers at the Odessa port.
To avoid attracting attention, the suspect changed public transportation routes and photographed potential targets from the windows. The SBU documented her activities and detained her during additional reconnaissance near one of these locations. A smartphone containing evidence of possible collaboration with Russian intelligence was seized.
She was informed of suspicion of treason committed under martial law (Part 2, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The suspect is being held in custody without the right to bail.
If found guilty, she faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
