Anatoly Krivonozhko has become the new commander of the Air Force

Today, August 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Lieutenant General Anatoliy Krivonozhko as Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The president announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Today I appointed Lieutenant General Anatoliy Krivonozhko as Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And most importantly, that Ukrainian combat aviation and air defense forces continue to develop comprehensively and in effective cooperation: the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, our partner teams and specialists,” Zelensky wrote.
It should be noted that on August 30, 2024, Zelenskyy, by decree, dismissed the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk , who had held this position since August 2021.
