Andriy Parubiy’s life will become a signpost for millions of Ukrainians – Yushchenko

The third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, expressed his condolences over the death of Andriy Parubiy and stressed that his example will help millions of Ukrainians understand the true meaning of life.

He wrote about this on his Facebook.

In his video address, Yushchenko noted that the loss of Parubiy was especially painful at this difficult time for Ukraine.

“We have lost a young, extremely talented, idealistic person. There was a feeling that Andriy is needed today and for a long time, so much Ukrainian work remains,” he said.

The former president emphasized that every day of independence has always come at a high price for Ukrainians and Parubiy lived it with a measure of care for the nation and the state.

Yushchenko called the politician “a man of strange purity,” emphasizing that there was no place for dirt or uncleanliness in his life. He also mentioned Parubiy’s deep devotion to his family, nation, and state:

“Do whatever you want with me, but please don’t touch the family,” Yushchenko quoted Parubiy’s words from his last interview.

“It is very difficult for me to talk about Andrei in the past,” the third president concluded.

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv .

It later became known that a shooter who killed the current member of parliament from European Solidarity and former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy is being sought in the Lviv region . A photo of the alleged killer is being published online.

Later, journalists reported that deputy Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.

It is worth noting that a special operation called Siren was announced in Lviv to search for the killer of the people’s deputy , former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy.
