Former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak was released from pre-trial detention after posting bail of 140 million hryvnias in a case of alleged money laundering. This happened on May 18, after which a number of procedural obligations were assigned to him.

This is reported by “Social” .

While leaving the pretrial detention center, Andriy Yermak told reporters that he did not know who exactly posted bail for him.

“I don’t know who exactly posted bail for me,” said Andriy Yermak.

Previously, Andriy Yermak was given a bail of 140 million hryvnias as part of criminal proceedings in which he is suspected of legalizing funds obtained illegally through the construction of the “Dynasty” residence in the Kyiv region.

After posting bail, procedural obligations were determined for him, including appearing before detectives, prosecutors, and the court, not leaving Kyiv without permission, reporting a change of residence or work, refraining from communicating with other suspects and witnesses, surrendering passports for travel abroad, and wearing an electronic monitoring device.
