Andrzej Duda arrived on a visit to Kyiv

On Saturday, June 28, Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv for a “farewell” visit.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga.
“I am pleased to welcome a true friend of Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda, at Kyiv’s Central Station this morning. President Duda stood by Ukraine in the most difficult times of full-scale Russian aggression. We are grateful to him and all Poles who demonstrated true solidarity with Ukraine,” the Foreign Minister wrote.
He also added that Duda will meet with President Zelensky to celebrate Ukraine’s Constitution Day.
The Polish Embassy in Ukraine reported that Duda was also met by the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, Piotr Lukasiewicz.
The Polish President’s office called Duda’s visit to Ukraine “farewell.”
It should be noted that in early June, Karol Nawrocki, supported by Andrzej Duda, won the presidential elections in Poland, and will later replace the incumbent president.
