A drone that flew into Lithuania from Belarus on July 28 was discovered. It was spotted at the Gaižiūnai military training ground in Jonau district.

Radio Liberty reported this.

This information was confirmed to the Baltic news service BNS by Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovilė Šakaliene.

“We confirm that the drone has been found. Further information will be available shortly,” she said.

The drone was reportedly found more than 100 kilometers from Belarus. The drone was previously found to be similar to the Russian Gerbera drone, which is designed to deceive air defense systems, as it resembles the Iranian Shahed combat drone.

Military investigators and sappers are working at the scene.

Let us recall that earlier, Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovilė Šakalienė stated that a Gerbera UAV had flown into the country from Belarus .
