Another group of children managed to be taken out of the occupied Kherson region

Another group of children and adolescents was returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The boys and a girl range in age from 3 months to 17 years. Among those rescued are a 17-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy who survived repeated incursions into their home by Russian soldiers. During one of these incursions, the children witnessed the torture of their mother.
It was also possible to evacuate an 8-year-old and 5-year-old boys who were trapped in their own house after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was blown up. The water level there was almost two meters high. The family was left without electricity, food, and medicine. All this time, the mother hid her sons from the occupiers so that they would not be forced to study at a Russian school and removed from their family.
Currently, all returned children and adolescents are safe and receiving the necessary assistance for a gradual return to normal life.
The rescue of the children took place as part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA with the participation of the Save Ukraine team.
