Apartments in the center of the capital, expensive cars and elite land: where did the people involved in “Mindichgate” spend their money?
In recent years, those involved in the corruption scheme at Energoatom have taken possession of luxury cars and expensive real estate in the center of Kyiv.
This is stated in the investigation of Hromadske, reports the Central Criminal Police Office.
According to journalists, only the family of businessman Timur Mindich owns a 1,700 square meter property in the city center of the capital.
At the same time, the wife of the back office employee or the so-called “laundry room” through which the funds were legalized, “Ryoshika”, is the owner of a home in Kyiv, the cost of which is 400 thousand dollars.
Timur Mindich, who appears on NABU tapes as “Carlson”, has four apartments in the center of the capital – two owned and two rented. His mother owns an apartment in a building at 9-A Hrushevskoho Street and two apartments in the premium residential complex “Metropol”.
Oleksandr “Sugarman” Zukerman has two apartments in the center of Kyiv, and another one was in the capital – with his mother.
The wife of Igor “Rocket” Myronyuk took possession of 4 hectares of protected land in Kozyn, a Mercedes EQC 400, and a hectare of land near Kyiv.
The wife of Dmitry “Tenor” Basov has two apartments and a parking space in prestigious Kyiv residential complexes, three cars (two Mercedes Benz and a Range Rover), and her father-in-law has a Volkswagen ID UNYX.
Igor “Ryoshik” Fursenko owns a Porsche Macan, and his wife owns an apartment in Kyiv and an Audi Q8.
Lyudmila Zorina owns an apartment in the capital and a Nissan Qashqai.
Lesya Ustimenko is the owner of a parking space in the building where the back office was located, as well as a Toyota Rav4.
“And this is only what was officially recorded. In Ukraine. That is, most likely, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Don’t forget that society would hardly have learned the scale of the enrichment if it had not been protected by the NABU and the SAPO,” the CPC emphasized.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.
By the way, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported suspicions against 7 individuals involved in a large-scale corruption scheme at JSC NNEGC Energoatom .
Previously, NABU and SAPO documented how participants in a corruption scheme in the energy sector transferred money to the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine .
As is known, journalists from “Schemes” identified the names of individuals whom NABU detectives reported suspicious to as part of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector, including Timur Mindich.
