Are elections possible during war: Zelensky gave the answer

Ukraine could hold presidential elections if a ceasefire is established.

This was stated by the President of the country, Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Fox News.

According to him, the main condition for holding elections remains the safety of citizens.

“We need security for the elections. Even if it is difficult according to our Constitution, if there is a ceasefire, we can hold the elections,” Zelensky stressed.

He also noted that the implementation of such a scenario would require support from Ukraine’s allies, although he did not provide details about this support.
