Armenia’s first election results: who is leading?

Parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on Sunday, June 7. The country’s Central Election Commission announced preliminary results after counting votes at 269 polling stations in various regions of the republic.
This is reported by News.am.
According to preliminary data, the results of political forces look like this:

- “Civil Agreement” party — 54.86%;

- “Strong Armenia” alliance — 22.19%;

- “Armenia” alliance of parties — 8.58%;

- Prosperous Armenia Party — 5.14%;

- Wings of Unity party — 2.36%.
In particular, as of 5:00 p.m. local time, the turnout in the elections was 48.92%. According to Armenian law, elections are considered to have taken place regardless of the level of turnout.
Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that voting in the elections to the National Assembly has ended in Armenia , during which citizens determined the country’s further political course.
It was also previously reported that, according to exit polls, the Civil Contract party of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received 32.7% of the vote, while the four opposition political forces received a combined 52.9%, which could potentially allow them to claim a parliamentary majority.
