Armored vehicles from Latvia are already in Ukraine: what is known about CVR(T)

Latvia has already begun delivering CVR(T) armored combat vehicles to Ukraine, and deliveries are ongoing.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov after a meeting with his Latvian counterpart Andris Spruds.
According to him, the equipment is arriving to strengthen Ukrainian units.
“Latvia has begun transferring batches of CVR(T) armored combat vehicles to Ukraine. Deliveries are ongoing – the equipment is arriving to reinforce battalion units,” Fedorov noted.
He added that these vehicles will help increase the mobility and protection of the military.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed further defense cooperation and joint projects, in particular in the field of drones. This concerns the development of solutions using FPV drones, as well as medium and long-range systems.
In addition, they talked about cooperation in the defense industry and the launch of new production facilities. Separately, they presented initiatives that should strengthen the Ukrainian army with drones.
Fedorov thanked Latvia for its support for Ukraine, in particular for financial assistance and participation in international programs.
