MP Oleksiy Honcharenko stated that the bodyguard of American actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie was detained by the military of the CCK.

He wrote about this in Telegram.

“About Jolie’s bodyguard — I confirm that it’s true. He was really taken to the CCC and wanted to be mobilized,” the report says.

At the same time, a video was shared online about the star coming to the regional recruitment center allegedly to help a security guard.

Instead, the Land Forces Command explained in a comment to TSN.ua that the man was stopped to check his documents. There was no question of forcible detention.

“Everything is fine with Angelina Jolie, she really visited the CCC and the SP. She stopped by and asked to use the restroom. As for her bodyguard, he is a reserve officer. No one forcibly detained him,” the Ground Forces noted.

They added that the actress’s bodyguard was legally summoned to the territorial recruitment center, where his identity was established. After that, the man was released.
