Attack on CCC in Bukovina: man wounds soldiers with a knife

In Bukovina, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of attempting to murder servicemen of the Ukrainian Central Committee.
This was reported by the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident occurred on April 20 near the village of Strumok, Dniester district. While the man was being transported to the mobilization center, a conflict arose between him and two servicemen.
“During the argument, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed both victims in the neck several times,” the report said.
After that, the man damaged the company car and continued to resist.
“The suspect also hit one of the servicemen in the forearm with a wrench,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Law enforcement officers detained a 29-year-old local resident. He has already been reported as suspected under articles of attempted murder and hooliganism.
The two soldiers were provided with timely medical assistance – their lives are currently out of danger.
“The suspect has been taken into custody,” the department added.
A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
