Attack on Chernihiv: Russians strike critical infrastructure

The Russian army attacks Chernihiv on the afternoon of Thursday, September 25. The Russians are using drones to strike critical infrastructure in the city.

The Ukrainian Air Force first warned about the drone strikes, and then the drone attack was confirmed by the head of the Chernihiv MVA, Dmytro Bryzhynsky.

The military noted that at about 1 p.m. there was a threat of Russian air strikes on Chernihiv and the surrounding area. People were urged to take cover immediately. Later, an hour later, the warning was sounded again.

At around 2:30 p.m., Bryzhinsky confirmed the attack by Russian drones. According to him, Russian drones are hitting critical infrastructure facilities. At the same time, Chernihivvodokanal urged citizens to stock up on water.

It should be noted that earlier, on the morning of September 25, the Russians attacked Nizhyn in Chernihiv Oblast . In just half an hour, the enemy launched more than a dozen drones into the city, and 14 arrivals were recorded. Power outages were recorded in Nizhyn as a result of the attack.
