Attack on Lviv: number of victims rises to 26

The number of casualties in Lviv has increased as a result of the attack by Russian strike drones on the city.

This was announced by Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

According to the latest information, 26 injured people with varying degrees of severity are in city hospitals, and doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance. At the same time, Sadovyi stressed that there were no casualties.

Separately, the mayor spoke about the damage to infrastructure. In particular, the Russians hit a building in the center of Lviv, at 13 Soborna Square, which is an architectural monument of national importance.

In addition, 4 houses were damaged in the Halytskyi district, and another 19 high-rise buildings were damaged in the Sykhiv district.

“Tomorrow, March 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., a mobile ASC will be open at school No. 98 (12 Trylovskoho St.). Here you can get help, consultations, and submit information about damage,” Sadovyi noted.

As is known, on the afternoon of March 24, Russian occupation forces attacked Lviv with the help of strike drones , resulting in casualties among people and a UNESCO site.

As a reminder, this afternoon Russia carried out one of the largest air attacks on Ukraine , striking with over 550 drones. Including night strikes, Russia has sent over a thousand drones into Ukraine since the evening of March 23.
