Attack on Sevastopol: a water utility facility caught fire near the Balaklava TPP
On the evening of August 12, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, and during the attack on the Balaklava TPP, a fire broke out at a large water supply facility near the village of Shturmove.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.
According to the source, at about 10:50 p.m. during the attack on the power plant, a water utility facility caught fire. Shturmove is home to city hydropower plant No. 3, which provides water supply to Sevastopol.
It is also reported that after a powerful explosion, part of the city was left without electricity. The occupation governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, confirmed the attack on the energy facility and urged residents to save their mobile phone charges.
According to Crimean Wind, people in a car near the power plant may have died as a result of falling debris from a drone or missile after Russian air defenses. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
It was previously reported that on the night of August 7, the Ukrainian military struck a Russian early detection radar station, drone repeaters, and other military facilities of the occupiers in temporarily occupied Crimea , as well as in the captured territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
