Attack on shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih: death toll rises to 15, injured to 130

The death toll from the Russian attack on a shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih has risen. According to the latest reports, 15 people have been killed and another 130 injured, including 23 children.

This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Oleksandr Ganzha.

Initially, Ganzha reported 14 dead and 121 injured, including 22 children. At that time, 29 people, including 5 children, were seriously injured.

The number of victims later increased to 130, including 23 children. Ganzha noted that the victims were receiving medical care and that the hospitals were equipped with everything they needed.

Later, the head of the OVA reported 15 deaths as a result of the attack on the shopping center.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also responded to the strike. According to him, the Russian military carried out several targeted drone strikes on the shopping center.

“Now in Kryvyi Rih there is a rescue operation after a strike on a shopping center. All necessary forces have been involved. Unfortunately, many people have been injured,” Zelenskyy said.

He noted that among the dead and injured are children, and rescuers continue to find out information about all the people who may have been in the shopping center.

“Absolute atrocity by the Russians. We will definitely respond,” the president emphasized.

As is known, Russian troops twice attacked a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, on August 21. The strikes killed 6 people and injured 91 others, including 6 children.
