In Kherson, over the past few days, Russian occupiers have launched intensive attacks on the local CHP, causing its operation to be suspended.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the station suffered serious damage: premises and equipment were affected. As a result, 470 houses, or more than 40.5 thousand subscribers, were left without heating.

“The occupiers are once again targeting the civilian population,” Prokudin noted.

In the conditions of suspended operation of the CHP, the Kherson authorities are holding operational meetings, considering alternative options for heat supply for residents. In parallel, negotiations are underway with partners regarding the supply of electric heaters and other heating equipment.

Inviolability Points continue to operate in the city, where you can warm up, charge your phone, and contact your family. The regional contact center is also available at 0800 101 102 and 0800 330 951.

As a reminder, two thermal power plants were damaged in the Donetsk region as a result of a drone attack, which led to the shutdown of a number of boiler houses and filtration stations.
