The ability of Ukrainian drones to strike targets in a quarter of the territory of the Russian Federation is becoming a reality, covering regions inhabited by over 140 million people. Although psychological pressure on the enemy population is growing, it has not yet led to widespread guilt.

Thus, the chairman of the board of the “People’s Rear” charitable foundation, Heorhiy Tuka, commented on Western media reports on air on “Pryamoy” about the range of Ukrainian drones reaching 1,500 kilometers.

“In the vast majority, I observe simply a lack of search or even understanding of cause-and-effect relationships,” he stressed, emphasizing that Russians are more likely to complain about inconvenience than to draw parallels between explosions in their own cities and a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

According to Tuka, residents of border areas, such as the Belgorod region, are already feeling fear and calling for peace, but are facing criticism from compatriots from deeper regions. Until the war affects everyone personally, the general degree of discontent remains low, and the isolated voices of truth on social networks are quickly lost among indifference, the public figure summed up.

As “Pryamiy” reported, the internal situation in Russia is showing signs of destabilization due to economic hardship and a protracted conflict. According to official Russian polls, the level of distrust in the dictator has reached 24%, the highest figure since February 2022.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian special services obtained recordings of telephone conversations with the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, who, in a private conversation, gave extremely pessimistic forecasts about the stability of the Russian financial system in the coming months. These data differ significantly from the official Kremlin propaganda.

By the way, the leader of the Russian communists, Gennady Zyuganov, has stated that there is a risk of a repeat of the 1917 revolution in Russia amid economic problems and growing discontent. According to him, the Russian economy is rapidly deteriorating, and he called the first quarter of the year a “complete disaster.” Zyuganov called on the authorities to urgently make financial and economic decisions; the country could face a scenario similar to the events of 1917 in the fall.
