“August shows who’s boss!” – heat wave grips Ukraine

The heat wave that has settled across Ukraine in recent days will continue throughout the coming week. Abatement is expected only on August 8.
Meteorologist Natalia Didenko reported this on her Facebook page.
According to her, maximum temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 36 degrees Celsius. No precipitation is expected. Only localized thunderstorms and short showers are expected in the far northwest and north.
Kyiv will be dry and hot on August 3, with temperatures hovering around 32°C to 34°C. The heat will intensify further. “August shows who’s boss in the meteorological department!” Didenko stated.
At night, the air temperature will fluctuate between 18 and 23 degrees, sometimes up to +25 degrees.
Earlier, “Pryamoy” reported that during the August heat wave, the air temperature in some regions would rise to +38 degrees .
