Autumn is not in a hurry yet: Ukraine awaits sunny and warm days

October in Ukraine will begin with sunny and warm weather. There will be no precipitation in most regions, and the temperature will rise to +22° during the day. According to forecasters, this weather will last at least until the end of the week.
This was reported by forecasters Natalka Didenko and Ihor Kibalchych.
According to Didenko’s forecast, the weather in Ukraine on October 1 will be determined by a northern anticyclone. Because of this, it will be dry and sunny almost throughout the country. Light rain is possible in places only in Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
Strong northeasterly winds are expected in the south, east, and Dnipropetrovsk region. Its gusts will reach 15–20 m/s, so forecasters advise caution.
On Thursday, the air temperature will be +17°…+22°. It will be dry, sunny and moderately warm in Kyiv – during the day, the thermometer will show +16°…+18°.
Warm and mostly dry weather will persist in the following days. According to Kibalchich’s forecast, no significant precipitation is expected on October 2, except for isolated rain in Crimea. In the afternoon, the air will warm up to +16°…+21°.
On Saturday, October 3, light rain is possible at night in the central and western regions, but no precipitation is forecast during the day. The temperature will remain within +16°…+21°.
On Sunday, October 4, it will be dry, but a little cooler. At night, +4°…+9° is expected, and during the day — +14°…+19°.
At the same time, Natalka Didenko drew attention to another feature of the weather in the coming days. Due to the anticyclone, the air may be less clean of pollution. Harmful particles may combine with natural fog, so people with bronchopulmonary diseases should be especially attentive to their well-being.
According to Kibalchych’s forecast, October will generally be close to the climatic norm. The average temperature during the month is expected to be +6°…+12°, and the amount of precipitation is within 80–120% of the multi-year indicators.
