US President Donald Trump said that if he does not receive the Nobel Peace Prize, it would be an insult to the United States.

He said this during a meeting with generals in Virginia.

According to him, since taking office, he has ended seven wars, and the conflict between Gaza and Israel could become the eighth.

“If everything works out, we’ll have eight (completed wars – ed.) in eight months. I swear to God, no one has ever done this before. Will you get a Nobel Prize for this? Of course not. They’ll give it to some guy who didn’t do anything. A guy who wrote a book about the mind of Donald Trump,” the US president is convinced.

Trump assured that he does not want the award, but the United States must receive it. Otherwise, it would be a great insult to the country.

In addition, he once again emphasized that he considered it easiest to end the war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine, but this turned out to be not the case.

“And here we have Putin and Zelensky. ‘The easiest of them all,’ I said. I thought it would be the first one, and the rest, some of them, are much harder,” Trump concluded.

It was previously reported thatEurope is considering an unconventional approach to win Donald Trump over to Ukraine’s side – offering him the Nobel Peace Prize as a kind of “diplomatic gift.”

As a reminder, Ukrainian deputies registered a draft resolution to appeal to the Nobel Committee to nominate US President Donald Trump as a candidate for the Peace Prize.

As reported, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyanannounced their intention to nominate US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
