Bail has been posted for the OP official involved in the “Forrest Gump” case
A bail of UAH 7 million has been posted for Viktor Dubovik, an official of the Office of the President. He is involved in a case related to the “Forrest Gump” and “Themis” operations.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The VAKS clarified that the entire amount of bail previously set by the court was paid for Dubovyk.
“The full amount of bail was paid for Dubovyk,” said Kateryna Shipilova, a press officer at the VAKS.
Recall that the defendants in the Forrest Gump case discussed the inability to obtain information from anti-corruption authorities and considered how to control the anti-corruption system.
As reported, on August 21, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court imposed preventive measures on former MP Maksym Mykytas and head of PrJSC “Metrobud” Valentyn Yelizarov in the “Forrest Gump” case. Both were ordered to be held in custody with the possibility of posting bail: 30 million hryvnias for Mykytas and 20 million hryvnias for Yelizarov.
