Bankova’s Dirty War: How Power Brokers Are Smearing Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Fighters

Zelensky’s office has been waging a campaign to discredit me for my anti-corruption work for the past year.

1. The young men who are the owners of the TG channels booked by the SBU at the request of the Office, in addition to praising Zelenskyy, are trying to destroy the reputation of anti-corruption activists and journalists.

2. They also earn quite a bit from their TG channels—millions of hryvnias per month. And reservations.

3. Their names are Oleg Harutyunyan, Bohdan Tymoshchuk, Andriy Sakharov, and a dozen other owners of all these Insiders and Ukraine Online.

4. The largest human rights organization in Ukraine, ZMINA, wrote in its report about the pressure on me through cyberbullying, intimidation, and an informational discrediting campaign.

5. This report was seen by international partners, who will point this out to Ukraine in their annual report.

Zelensky’s office forgets that by discrediting anti-corruption whistleblowers and journalists, it is discrediting itself before the West, first and foremost.

I humbly thank human rights activists for noticing us, supporting us, and being our voice of defense before the entire civilized world.

We are not afraid of pressure and will continue to speak the truth and fight for fair rules of the game in the country.
