Beaten and broken arm: in Volyn, a CCC official tried to forcefully mobilize a 60-year-old fisherman
In Volyn, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained an official of the territorial recruitment center, who, together with other servicemen, used force against a 60-year-old man during an attempted mobilization. The victim received moderate injuries, and a preventive measure was chosen for the suspect.

The incident occurred on March 20 in the village of Zabolottya, Kovel district. According to the investigation, three CCC employees approached a local resident who was fishing and began to use physical force on him.
Despite the fact that the man was not eligible for conscription due to his age, they tried to forcefully mobilize him. His arm was broken behind his back and a bone was broken with displacement.
After that, one of the soldiers used a stun gun and pepper spray, which caused chemical burns to the eyes. According to the investigation, the wheels of the victim’s car were also damaged.
As a result of the incident, the man received moderate injuries that led to long-term health problems.
Law enforcement officers informed the head of a group of one of the departments of the Kovel RTCC and SP about suspicion under Part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of house arrest.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Investigators are preparing to suspect other participants in the incident.
“The mobilization process must take place in strict accordance with the Law, without violating human and civil rights,” the department noted.
By the way, the former head of one of the district territorial procurement centers in the Kyiv region will be tried for illegally seizing eight cars from entrepreneurs, allegedly for the needs of the army.
