Belarus remains a threat: Ukraine strengthens border areas

Ukraine is strengthening the border line with Belarus so that the soldiers of the Defense Forces can counter any threat.

This was announced during a telethon by the spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.

He noted that the Belarusian direction remains threatening throughout the entire period of a full-scale invasion.

According to him, the border areas in the North of the country are reinforced with various components of the Defense Forces and fortifications.

“And all those more than 1,000 kilometers that we have with Belarus — from Volyn to Chernihiv region — are a constant increase in our defense capabilities,” Demchenko assured.

He added that currently no changes — movements of equipment or personnel — are being recorded on Belarusian territory.

However, intelligence units of both the Ministry of Defense and the State Border Service are actively monitoring the situation in Belarus.

As a reminder, in the western regions of Belarus, men are massively receiving summonses for unscheduled military service. Active discussion and a wave of concern have arisen on social networks.

As is known, in Belarus, at the former military airfield Krychev-6, the active deployment of a military base is underway .

By the way, NATO plans to create a de-inhabited robotic zone on the border with Russia and Belarus within the next 2 years .
