The Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Oreshnik missile system has begun combat duty on the territory of the country.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The agency released a video that, according to the Belarusian side, shows the Russian Oreshnik missile system in certain areas of the country. The Defense Ministry noted that the system is already performing combat duty tasks.

Before taking up duty, the combat crews of the launch, communications, security and power supply, as well as the driver-mechanics, underwent retraining. The training took place on modern training equipment.

The ministry stated that after checking the readiness of the complex by a joint group, the Oreshnik missile division began to carry out its tasks on the territory of Belarus.

Earlier, it was reported that the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, in response to journalists, stated that Minsk could receive a maximum of ten Oreshnik complexes from the Kremlin.

Recall that Russia does not intend to abandon its goals regarding the occupied territories of Ukraine and is ready to achieve them both diplomatically and militarily.
