Former US President Joe Biden recently underwent surgery to remove cancerous skin lesions.

This was reported by CNN, citing a representative of the politician.

The Mohs technique, a microsurgical procedure that precisely removes malignant cells by examining the tissue layer by layer under a microscope, was used, the report said. This approach is commonly used to treat skin cancer on the face, hands or other delicate areas, such as the genitals, and for recurrences of the disease.

Biden’s representative did not specify the date of the surgery. Information about the operation appeared after a video appeared online, where a scar is visible on the former president’s forehead.

Recall that in 2023, Biden had a skin lesion on his chest removed, which turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. At that time, his personal physician Kevin O’Connor assured that all malignant cells were completely removed, and Biden will remain under the supervision of dermatologists.

It should be noted that former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

As reported, former White House physician Ronnie Jackson gave a bleak prognosis: former US President Joe Biden likely has 12 to 18 months to live due to an advanced form of prostate cancer.
