Bilous continues to lead important areas of the Ministry of Justice, despite scandals

MP from the Holos party Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that the personnel changes in the government affected only two ministers – Herman Halushchenko (Justice) and Svitlana Hrynchuk (Economy), while the rest of the people associated with businessman Timur Mindich remain under influence.

In his post, Zheleznyak gave a vivid example: Deputy Minister of Justice Oleksandr Bilous, who supervised the activities of the National Commission regulating energy and utilities during Galushchenko’s tenure, still retains his position.

According to the deputy, Bilous has repeatedly appeared in NABU tapes and is a well-known figure in Myronyuk’s back office, but despite this, he continues to manage important areas of the Ministry of Justice.

“As soon as public attention subsided, all statements about the cleansing of power remained just words. Almost all of Mindich’s people in the power system are still in their positions,” Zheleznyak emphasized.

As a reminder, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a secret wiretapping of Yuriy Kisel, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People faction, a close friend of the co-founder of Kvartal 95, Serhiy Shefir, for over two years.

As reported, after the publication of the materials of Operation Midas on corruption in the energy sector, the State Bureau of Investigation interrogated its deputy director, Oleksandr Udovichenko, but not the head of the State Bureau of Investigation, Oleksiy Sukhachev.
