Blackout is back: emergency shutdown schedules have been introduced in almost all regions

As a result of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, residents of almost all regions of Ukraine were left without electricity.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

Due to the difficult situation in the power system, emergency outage schedules were applied in all regions, except Donetsk and part of Chernihiv regions.

Currently, hourly outage schedules continue to operate in the Chernihiv region.

Emergency recovery work is ongoing in all regions affected by the shelling.

“If you have electricity now, please consume it sparingly!” the department urged.

As a reminder, due to previous Russian shelling, the situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains difficult – on October 14 , consumers in nine regions were left without electricity .
