On the night of September 7-8, 2025, a total lunar eclipse will occur over Ukraine, which will last 82 minutes.
Space.com reports this.
The Moon will take on a characteristic red hue, the so-called “blood moon.” This will be the second total eclipse of the year visible in Europe. It will also be visible in Asia, Africa, and Australia.
In Ukraine, the full phase will start at 20:30, the maximum will last at 21:11, end at 21:52, and the entire event will end at 23:55.
Unlike a solar eclipse, observing a lunar eclipse is safe for the eyes.
