Bohdan stated that sanctions were imposed against him because of the “Mindich tapes”
Former head of the President’s Office Andriy Bohdan stated that sanctions were imposed against him not because of corruption, but because of the distribution of the so-called “Mindich tapes” among journalists.
He said this in his video message.
According to Bohdan, a few days ago, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against him, initiated, according to ZN.UA, by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The former head of the OP claims that the real reason was not corruption allegations, but the distribution of materials, which, according to him, contained corrupt conversations by officials.
“My quick investigation into the circumstances of the imposition of sanctions on me showed that they were imposed for distributing the “Mindich tapes” among journalists. The complex construction is hidden behind the legal phrase “for the systematic discrediting of the top leadership of the state,” Bohdan said.
He is convinced that the sanctions were a reaction to criticism of the authorities and the publication of information about corruption.
Bohdan also announced that he was launching his own legal investigation into the circumstances of the sanctions and promised to seek the prosecution of all those involved.
“Sanctions are sanctions,” he concluded.
