Book for the road: Ukrzaliznytsia launched a new option when purchasing a ticket

Ukrzaliznytsia passengers can now order a book along with a ticket for a number of international and domestic flights. At the beginning of the journey, the order will already be waiting for the passenger on his shelf in the carriage.

The service operates on international flights to Poland – Przemyśl and Chełm, as well as to Budapest, Chisinau and Bucharest.

Ukrzaliznytsia explained that in this way they want to support the Ukrainian book market, which has suffered significant losses due to Russian attacks. According to the company, in recent months alone, Russian attacks on warehouses and printing houses have destroyed more than 10 million books.

“By buying a Ukrainian book, you support publishers, bookstores, and everyone who continues to work and create new stories despite Russian attacks,” the company emphasized.

Ukrzaliznytsia also offers book bonuses to its loyalty program participants. Accumulated Obiymashkas can be exchanged for discounts, bonuses, and access to e-books and audiobooks from partners.

In particular, passengers can receive 300 hryvnias in bonuses at Readeat, free access to audiobooks at Abuk, a 15% discount at Bookland, 20% at the Mrielov Story Workshop, 25% on e-books and audiobooks at Librarius, and 12% on paper editions at the E. Bookstore.
