Border guards repel Russian breakthrough attempts in Kharkiv region

Russian troops have been trying to break through the state border of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region for several days.

This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, Russian occupation troops attempted to break through the positions of the “Gart” border brigade, which is defending the border in the Kharkiv region.

As noted in the department, the enemy operated in infantry groups with the support of artillery and drones. The occupiers tried to seize advanced positions and advance deep into the territory of Ukraine.

As reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine, the movement and accumulation of enemy forces was detected in time by aerial reconnaissance. The enemy infantry was dealt with using all available means of destruction. The attempt to break through the state border was blocked, the enemy was unsuccessful and retreated.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, 21 Russian servicemen were killed during the defensive battle, and another 11 occupiers were wounded.

Separately, it is reported that Charter fighters killed about 70 Russian soldiers in the Lipetsk direction.

As previously reported, the Orikhiv direction in the Zaporizhia region remains quite active, where the Russian army is trying to break through Ukrainian defenses.

We remind you that the occupation forces are trying to infiltrate and gain a foothold in the suburbs of Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhia region. The enemy is constantly trying to conduct infiltration operations in the front areas near Plavni, Primorske, and Kamiansky.
