Britain will transfer electronic warfare technologies to Ukraine to protect drones – Zelensky

The United Kingdom will transfer electronic warfare technologies to Ukraine to protect drones. The decision was made during the first meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the head of state, the meeting took place aboard the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth during the Ukrainian delegation’s visit to the British naval base in Portsmouth.

Zelenskyy stressed that he appreciated the fact that the Ukrainian team’s visit was the first since Andy Burnham took office as Prime Minister.

“This is an important signal of support, and the Prime Minister assured that it remains unchanged,” the president noted.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, in particular the protection of Ukrainian skies and seas, as well as the development of joint defense production.

Separately, Zelenskyy thanked the British government for its decision to transfer electronic warfare technologies to Ukraine to protect Ukrainian drones.

“It will definitely be useful on the battlefield. Together we can do even more in the field of drones and other technologies,” he emphasized.

In addition, the president invited the Prime Minister of Great Britain to visit Ukraine.
