British Defense Minister orders urgent strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense

UK Defense Secretary John Healy has instructed to accelerate the supply of air defense systems and anti-drone equipment to Ukraine after Russia’s recent massive attacks.

He announced this on the social network X.

Ghee called the Russian drone attacks on Ukraine over the past 24 hours shocking and stressed the need to quickly strengthen Ukrainian air defenses.

“I have instructed to accelerate the supply of air defense systems and anti-drone systems to Ukraine as soon as possible,” the British minister wrote.

He also stressed that the United Kingdom continues to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.

“We stand in solidarity with Ukraine in the face of Putin’s aggression. Our thoughts are with Ukrainian families,” added John Healy.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, May 14, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv. The enemy struck the capital with drones and missiles, explosions were heard in several areas, fires and destruction occurred . One person was killed and at least 16 injured.

As reported, as a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, the number of injured people has increased to 40 people, including two children . Some of the wounded were hospitalized in the capital’s hospitals.
